AIR OPTIX^® for ASTIGMATISM

Breakthrough Precision Balance 8|4™ Design combined with Highly Breathable Silicone Hydrogel Material.

We are delighted to announce that the range of AIR OPTIX for ASTIGMATISM has now been extended to include PLUS powers. The new extended range will be available from 2nd January and will be available in all three cyl powers: -0.75, -1.25 and -1.75 in 10 degree steps at 90° and 180° ± 20° in spherical powers from plano to + 6.00D.

Introducing AIR OPTIX^® AQUA MULTIFOCAL
AIR OPTIX® AQUA MULTIFOCAL, the latest addition to the AIR OPTIX® family of lenses will be available to order from the 12th January, 2009. A new Precision Transition design has been developed offering controlled aberration power profile and simultaneous vision. The power profile offsets the loss of accommodation that comes with the aging process, in turn enhancing depth of focus for presbyopic patients. AIR OPTIX AQUA MULTIFOCAL offers an advanced combination of oxygen and moisture for a healthy, natural feeling3, with clear vision at all distances4. Comfort is sustained with the superior wettability and excellent deposit resistance of the lotrafilicon B material with permanent plasma surface treatment.

Consumer Insight - The layout of your practice can influence your patients' shopping habits

Results from a recent study commissioned by CIBA VISION® have just been compiled. The research shows how practice layout significantly influences the way patients interact with the practice, and whether retail space that values on average at £3575 of annual median turnover per square metre*, could be better utilised.
